Poppy came in to see David a few weeks with pain when urinating and blood in her urine. David discussed Poppy’s history in detail and performed a full clinical exam. After doing in house urine analysis it was clear Poppy had a urinary tract infection. David suspected this was secondary to a condition called urinary sphincter mechanism incontinence or USMI for short. This is most common in neutered female dogs, as they become ‘middle aged’. David started Poppy on a course of antibiotics and treatment for her USMI.
Poppy came back in today and we are delighted that she is doing fantastically well. If your dog is suffering with similar problems to Poppy do not delay please do give us a call.

Dentals change lives!
This is our lovely vet David with the gorgeous little Thistle who was in for a dental. She needed a clean and had to have five teeth out! If plaque is left untreated for a long time it can cause gum recession and gingivitis which can lead to painful and wobbly teeth, not to mention the smelly breath.
If you are worried about your pet’s teeth, give us a call we currently have MASSIVE SAVINGS ON DENTAL TREATMENTS!
